Sharing his South American roots with the Alpaca, Eddie is the definition of a herd animal—highly sociable, gentle, and happiest when collaborating with his "pack." Just as alpacas are prized for being adaptive and treading lightly on the earth, Eddie moves through life with intention and thoughtfulness. He embodies a gentle curiosity, always seeking to leave his environment—and the people in it—better than he found them.
The Elephant is revered as one of the most intelligent and altruistic creatures on earth, making it the perfect spirit match for Dunia. Embodying the wisdom of the matriarch, she prioritizes family bonds and the respect of knowledge passed down from elders. Dunia possesses the unique balance of the elephant: "thick skin" that makes her tough and mighty when needed, softened by a nurturing spirit that guides our household with deep compassion.
Born in California, it is only fitting that our little "cub" aligns with the Bear. Emma has a fierce, instinctual connection to the natural world and an adventurous spirit that can't be tamed. While she is playful and curious, the bear is also an ancient symbol of power and protection. Emma represents that beautiful potential—she is the strength, love, and vibrant future of our family pack.
We don't need much imagination to find the spirit animals of... our actual animals. However, these two prove that opposites attract. Nala, our Labradoodle, is the gentle soul—patient, loving, and steady. Maya, our Peekapoo, is the spice—half the size but double the hyperactive energy. Despite their contrasting rhythms, they act as if they were meant to be sisters, reminding us daily to embrace both the calm and the chaos with equal love.
It takes more than just knowing who you are.
